I'm a London-based music photographer with over a decade of experience shooting for grassroots promoters and emerging bands, as well as covering mainstream performers. I'm currently one of the house photographers at the iconic Electric Ballroom in London, a Live Editor for LOUD WOMEN, an intersectional feminist organisation whose mission it is to promote women and minority represented genders within the music industry as well as a contributor to Metal Junkbox. Other promoters I regularly work with include Portals and Play It Loud UK. In the past I have also been a house photographer at Handmade Festival in Leicester and I cut my teeth as a photographer for Echoes and Dust and Chaos Theory.
My love for concert photography is a result of several different loves coming together. I've always loved to photograph people - but I preferred to catch them in the candid moments. Music has been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember and at some point the idea of taking photos became my way of giving back to the music community which has nourished me for so long. It also gave my AuDHD brain something to do with my hands while at gigs and allowed me to channel my main passion into, well, another passion.
As a woman in a male dominated scene, it's my particular passion to photograph women as well as queer and gender expansive artists.
I'm available for live photography, portraits and BTS shoots.
